Gregory Scott Spinks

Gregory Scott Spinks, 68, died November 12 at his home in Corpus Christi.  He was born on August 25, 1950, in Denton, Texas to Robert and Judith Spinks. He lived most of his life in Corpus Christi.

Greg was an outgoing person who loved spending time with his family.  He was an avid bowler and reader of science fiction and fantasy.

Greg will be greatly missed by his beloved sisters, Linda Beurlot and Leslie Lauderdale (John).  He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Elisa Hyman (Brandon), Megan Oris (Damien), Robert Beurlot (Natalie) and Graham Lauderdale (Emily).  He always loved to spend time with his great niece and nephews: Miles and Marley Hyman and Brennan and Elijah Oris. Greg is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Judith Spinks and his brother-in-law, Thomas Beurlot.

A Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on December 1, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home in Corpus Christi.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Lamar Cemetery near Rockport that same day.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Special Olympics.
