Lacho, my Brother, you will be selected into Valhalla as your reward for valor, bravery, courage and an unyielding devotion to your fellow man in combat. For those that do not know in common parlance, Valhalla is the heaven open to warriors who died bravely. You my Brother are among warriors, ancient and modern, “Until Valhalla” , “I am with you until death.”

I knew you since the 4th grade at Christ the King and we became life long friends. To me you were a kind and gentle man and I admired you. As Marines, we left Vietnam together not letting the door hit us on our backside. One day I'll join you in Valhalla my old friend and we'll piss on the devil.

I will always remember Lacho as smiling and kind. The Oliveira Family were our neighbors. This family was always kind and generous. To all of the Oliveira Family, Lachito is with Our Eternal God and with his beloved family. Keeping all of you in prayers of peace, understanding and strength. Lachito's light will keep on in all our hearts.
