Jesse Cisneros passed in peace at his home in Corpus Christ, TX on August 1, 2018. Jesse was born in Brownsville, TX on September 9, 1925. Devoted husband to his wife of 70 years, Angela C. Cisneros. Loving father to Nora Molohon (Husband, Richard Molohon). Proud grandfather of Jayme Pack (Husband, Robert Pack) and Jessi Molohon. Great-grandfather of Carter Pack.
After proudly serving his country in the Army until the end of World War II, Jesse Cisneros met Angela in Corpus Christi, TX in October of 1948. He asked her father for her hand in marriage just 2 weeks later. His only child, Nora Molohon, was born in December of 1958. In June of 1981, Jesse Cisneros retired from his position at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station at the age of 55, but continued working with Valero until age 65.
Jesse could often be seen wearing his trademark hats around town. If you didn’t notice his hats, you’d notice his infectious smile that would often prompt others to smile and laugh as well. A man of great faith, his crucifix was a permanent accessory worn as a public statement to his servitude to the good Lord. Jesse was an open book that could often be heard telling stories of his family and military past. When he wasn’t captivating audiences, he was a true people person who loved to converse and connect to those around him. Jesse thoroughly enjoyed reading, gardening, woodworking, singing, grilling and watching sports.
Jesse will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, devout Catholic, patriot and World War II veteran.
