Welcome to the memorial page for

Jimmy Callaway

June 4, 2017
His time has come. Jimmy (BoBo) Callaway, 59, passed on June 4, 2017 while visiting his sister in Houston, Texas. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Jimmy is survived by two daughters - Chelsea (Brandon) Gardner of Austin, Texas and Channing (Jeff) Bagniski of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  He is preceded in death by his parents William Denzil and Mary Laurene Callaway and two brothers, Ed and Ron. Two surviving siblings are Carolyn Mosley and Bruce Callaway. Born October 13, 1957, Jimmy enjoyed life but his heart was dedicated to his daughters and grandchildren - Ayden Gardner, Jarren Hall and Jayden Bagniski. He was also an avid Longhorns, Hooks, Spurs, Astros and Cowboys fan. His cheers will go silent but this spirit will live on in every way.
Perhaps his life might be summed by his good friend Danny Gonzales of Houston when he wrote: "My best friend- a friend to many - you could always count on Jimbo if you needed something or just needed an honest opinion."  He was always there for his family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Reid Chapel in Corpus Christi, Texas. Attire will be very informal, either colors to represent life or a jersey/t-shirt to represent the sports that he loved.
