John Hugh Baird

John H. Baird, age 88, passed away on November 28, 2018. He was born on September 27, 1930 to George and June Marie Baird. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer for twenty years. John retired from NAS Public Works Dept.
John is preceded in death by his daughter Sandra J. Baird, his parents George and June Baird, and his siblings: George Baird, Jr., Jim Baird, Fred Baird and Ronald Baird. John is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ofelia Soto Baird, sister Elizabeth Walker, brothers-in-law: Celestino (Edna) Soto, Joe Soto, Albert Soto, sister-in-law, Reina Facundo, his children: Charles Baird, Robert (Shannon) Baird, Bryan (Heather) Baird, Denise Baird Villarreal, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
