John Vincent Fernandez of Dallas, Texas, passed away on January 27, 2018. He was 51 years old.
Born in Tampa, Florida, to Juanito and Soledad Fernandez, John grew up in Kingsville, Texas in a loving environment with three brothers. He graduated from H.M. King High School before obtaining a degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. John remained in the Austin area after graduating college before moving to Dallas, Texas. Loved by his friends and colleagues alike for his cheerful, unselfish and caring demeanor, he lived in the Dallas area for the past 20 years, where he had a successful career as a Director of Accounting, during which he displayed both his exemplary work ethic and unsurpassed integrity.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Juanito V. Fernandez, M.D. and Soledad S. Fernandez, M.D. and he is survived by his three brothers: Frederick Fernandez of Montgomery, Arthur Fernandez, M.D. of San Antonio, and Gregory and Jennifer Fernandez of Houston, along with his nephew Alexander, of whom he was so proud.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 5th, at 6:00 pm at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, to be followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 6th, at 11:00 am at St Andrews by the Sea Catholic Church on Padre Island, to be followed by interment at Seaside Memorial Park.
