Joyce Ann Tate

Joyce A. Tate, age 68, passed away April 24, 2018. She was born on February 27, 1950 to Murphy and Ida Mull in San Carlos, Arizona. She was raised in Bylas, Arizona. She graduated from college in San Diego, California in 1974.
Joyce married her husband of forty three wonderful years, Willie Tate Jr., on February 1, 1976.
Joyce enjoyed spending time at the Oveal Williams Center. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her family, sense of humor, love and kindness and being very giving to anyone in need of help.
Joyce A. Tate is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Tate Jr. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters: Brenda Tate, Jocelyn Tate, son: J.W. Tate, step-children: Willie Tate III, Patricia Tate, Robin Tate, April Tate, June Tate, May Tate, thirteen grandchildren: Chad, Matthew, Amberlyn, Natasha, Miranda, Samantha, Riley, Jalen, Raven, Henry, Catherine, Jonathan and Troy, and a host of cousins and family from Arizona.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. that same day at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
Having the distinguished honor of being pallbearers are: Gerald Rich, Chad Williams, Matthew Williams, Miranda Lewis, Justin Canada and Mike Stevens.
