Juan Antonio Monreal, age 58, passed away on September 21, 2021. He was born on December 30, 1962 to Agapito and Maria Monreal in Matamoros, Mexico and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Patricia Monreal, age 58, passed away on September 29, 2021. She was born on March 28, 1963 to Raul and Eva Garza in Brownsville, Texas and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Gladys Porter High School in 1981.

Juan A. Monreal married his wife, Patricia Monreal of 39 years on October 3, 1981. Juan A. Monreal was a loving father, son, brother, cousin, friend and grandpa.

Juan A. Monreal enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his love and devotion to his family, enjoying being around his friends, he loved baking cakes, he was the life of the party, he praised and worshiped God. He was a strong hard working family man. He would help anyone in need and had a big heart.

Patricia Monreal enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, couponing and playing family games. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren. She was always there for her family. She loved having long conversations with her sisters and taking trips. She loved baking and making crafts. She had a loving heart.

Juan A. Monreal is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Monreal and niece, Alexis Joy Resendez.

Patricia Monreal is preceded in death by her loving husband, Juan A. Monreal; her parents, Raul and Eva Garza; her brother, Oscar Garza.

He is survived by his parents, Maria Monreal and Agapito Monreal; siblings, Alma Almaguer, Agapito Monreal, Victor Monreal, Maria Resendez, Robert Monreal; his children, Alma Monreal Pena (Mario), Jennifer Monreal (Jose), Jessica Monreal (Freddy), Joanna Monreal (Ram), Ashley Monreal (Israel), Juan Monreal Jr. and his grandchildren, Mariah, Brianna, Freddy III, Jezzel, Isaiah, Abel, Marissa, Aurianna, Bella, Cecilia, Julian, Max and Brandon.

She is survived by her siblings, Raul Garza, Jr., Javier Garza, Eddie Garza, Jaime Garza, Anna Navarro, Christina Mroz, Corina Hernandez and Leticia Estrada; her children, Alma Monreal Pena (Mario), Jennifer Monreal (Jose), Jessica Monreal (Freddy), Joanna Monreal (Ram), Ashley Monreal (Israel) and Juan Monreal Jr. and her grandchildren, Mariah, Brianna, Freddy III, Jezzel, Isaiah, Abel, Marissa, Aurianna, Bella, Cecilia, Julian, Max and Brandon.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
