Judith Ann McCarley

October 25, 1946 ~ January 31, 2018 (age 71) 71 Years Old
Judy Ann McCarley, 71, passed away on January 31, 2018. She was born on October 25, 1946 to George Mehis and Betty Jo Brandt Mehis in Mission, Texas.
Judy was a loving mother, wife and friend, who enjoyed hunting. Judy will always be remembered for her sense of adventure, love of laughter, and service to others. She was very empathetic to folks less fortunate and was always doing acts of charity for people. Judy came to know Jesus and Jesus knew her back. We all could learn from her love of life and her love for others. This poem below was Judy:
“Lord, let me live from day to day. In such a self-forgetful way that even when I kneel to pray, my prayer would be for others. Others Lord, yes others, let this my motto be. Lord let me live for others, that I might live like thee.”
Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Brandt Mehis, father, George Mehis, parents-in-laws, Rhaul Clyde McCarley and Laura Ann McCarley. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Donald McCarley, daughter, Kimberly Ann Botary, step-children, Jon McCarley, Aaron McCarley, Joel McCarley and Hannah McCarley and grandchildren, James, Kirsten and Valentino.
