Judy Ann Corrigan

Judy Ann Corrigan, age 68, passed away on September 16, 2022. She was born on February 4, 1954 to Irene Hamm and Kyle Blackburn in Ashe County, North Carolina. She was raised in Aberdeen, Maryland. She graduated from LSU-New Orleans, Louisiana with a masters degree in audiology. Upon graduation she moved to Corpus Christi to begin her audiology career with what eventually became Ear, Nose & Throat Associates. She ended her career with an association with Dr. Claude McLelland M.D.
     Judy was a loving mother, daughter, Gigi, friend, and aunt. She enjoyed laying by the pool, cooking, playing with Hadley. She also enjoyed loving on animals, especially Shorty and Lucky. Judy loved to travel and be anywhere in the sun; playing hide and seek with Hadley and shopping with Niccole. Judy was a very hard worker and loved what she did. She spent her later years as an audiologist, serving the underprivileged by providing hearing health and hearing aids to veterans and Medicaid recipients. 
    Judy is preceded in death by her mother Irene Pennington, step father Lawrence Pennington, father Kyle Blackburn, stepbrother Kelly Pennington, and stepbrother Charles Pennington.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Ashley Niccole Ramsey, granddaughter Hadley Niccole Ramsey, Italian foreign exchange daughter Benedetta Ricci, nephews and extended family, best friend Kathy Biles Rogers, and granddog Lucky.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. pm Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
