Obituary

Lee Daniel “Danny” Trevino, age 57, passed away on October 10, 2021. He was born on December 21, 1963 to Alejandro Alberto Trevino and Zoila Cariaga Trevino in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from San Benito High School in 1982. Danny met the woman he would make his wife, Imelda, in 1985 and they instantly fell in love. They were married on March 5, 1986 and spent 35 years loving each other every day. Danny was a loving father to his three girls, Laura Ann Trevino (Jason Rylance), Stacy Marie Trevino, and Valerie Rose Trevino.

Danny loved spending time with his two grandsons, Eric and Ethan, who lovingly called him “Papa”. He will always be remembered for his devotion to his family, infectious laughter and smile, love and knowledge of sports, and incredibly kind personality. You could always find him watching sports. He loved boxing and cheering for his favorite teams, the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. He had a talent for long distance running and completed ten marathons. He supported his young family as the manager of Pizza Hut for 23 years. His budding entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Danny’s Income Tax Service in 1996, which he quickly grew due to his expertise, friendly and kind demeanor, and outgoing nature. Together, Danny and Imelda founded Trevino Homes, where they built beautiful custom homes around the county.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Alejandro, and his nephew, Jake. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 35 years, Imelda, three daughters Laura, Stacy, and Valerie, son-in-law Jason, two grandsons Eric and Ethan, mother Zoila, three sisters Terry, Olivia, and Diana (Ed), five brothers Rick, Alex (Melanie), David (Yvonne), Gabriel, and Sam, 26 nieces and nephews, and countless great-nieces and nephews.
