Linda Gale Merritt Brannan, 59, passed on April 18, 2022 after a long battle with several health issues. Linda was born Nov 10, 1962 in San Antonio, Tx to Claude and Margaret “Muggsy” Merritt.
She was always so loved by everyone who met her; family, friends and friends who became family.
She leaves behind her soulmate and husband of 31 years, Jeffery Brannan Sr; her sons Jarrett(Annette) Merritt of Robstown, Tx, Jeffery(Angie) Brannan Jr of Waverly, Ks and Kyle(Megan) Brannan of Garnett, Ks; her daughter Kayla(Jimmy) Vickers of Sandia, Tx; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; her siblings Butch Merritt of Orange Grove, Tx, Glen(Wanda) Merritt of Robstown, Tx, Claudia Rhyne and Nancy Hillis of Corpus Christi, Tx, Cindy(Barry) Garrett and Joy Lynn Walker of San Antonio, Tx, Carla Vanzant of Port Aransas, Tx; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Margaret Merritt, her sister Deadra “Suzie” Shumake and her brother Gary Wayne.
We will be having a celebration of life on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the Lake Corpus Christi State Park at 12:00 pm.
She was always so loved by everyone who met her; family, friends and friends who became family.
