Linda M. Elizondo Saldivar, age 68, passed away on August 14, 2021. She was born on January 31, 1953 to Henry Raymond Elizondo and Nicolasa Orozco Elizondo Salinas in Laredo, Texas. Linda married her husband, Guadalupe R. Saldivar Jr. of 46 years on May 23 through the justice of the peace. They later married through the Catholic Church on January 7, 1984. Linda was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin and friend.

Linda enjoyed shopping, reading, watching western movies with her husband, drinking coffee, talking on the phone, spending time with her daughter in Houston. Her favorite phase was “I know right”. Linda also enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and always had them around her. She always said there’s no place like grandmas home. Linda was a BIG hugger and made sure to always hug everyone around her. She will always be remembered for her beautiful contagious smile, love of music, her hip dancing moves, laughter, being a second mother to others and prayer for others. She and her husband were inseparable and had a unique sense of humor. Linda loved the silliness with her husband, both a kid at heart. Her husband always called her my angel and honey. She was always complimenting people. She was sociable and loved butterflies. She loved being with all her children and spending time with her husband. She loved her husband’s bbq, homemade salsa and beans. She loved the color purple, pizza, popcorn, people, prayers and the phone. Linda was a character! She was an angelic person, always saw the good in people, and reminded everyone to forgive one another as Jesus forgave us. Linda was very loving just like her mother she always said to put God first, love one another, and stay positive. Her heart was full of love for everyone, especially the poor and homeless.
