Lois Green

Lois Jane was born on August 9, 1925 in Paris, Texas to Dellie M. and Lena B. Morris. She graduated from Paris High School, Paris Junior College and North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. Her career in the oil industry began when she moved to Corpus Christi in 1952 and was employed by H.W. “Bill” Volk, Jr., Geologist. She remained in his office until 2016 when she retired at the age of 91. In the earlier years she did “double-duty” working for Oil Operator, Arnold O. Morgan, Jr. as well, for a number of years. Lois met and married C.C.P.D. Captain “Hal” Green in 1954 and they were blessed with daughter, Kerry Jane Green in 1955. She was pre-deceased by both her parents, Sister Earlene Durig, Brother Dan Sales, her husband and her beloved daughter, Kerry Jane.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A graveside service will be held at Seaside Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 11 am. Burial will be alongside her precious daughter, Kerry. Condolences may be expressed on her tribute wall.
