Obituary
Corpus Christi - Louis H. Casarez Jr., was born on November 17, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Louis and Annabelle Casarez, and peacefully passed away in his home on March 28, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Louis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and successful business man. He was hardworking and dedicated to whatever he put his heart into. He had a friendly spirit, compassionate soul and helped many throughout his life. Dad was best known for his position as a bail bondsman in Nueces County with Louis Bail Bonds and later as the owner of Casarez Bail Bonding Service for over 35 years. He was an avid Houston Oilers and Astros fan and enjoyed traveling with his beloved Angie. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, devotion to his family, his generosity, his amazing wisdom and his beautiful heart of gold.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 59 years, Angelita; his children,
John (Mary) Casarez, Norma (Al) Acock and Mary (Augustine) De La Garza; eight grandchildren, Priscilla (Cory) Redding, Vanessa Montez, John D. (Valerie) Casarez, Savannah Guajardo, Joshua Guillen, Louis A. Casarez, Phillip Guajardo and William Acock; eleven great-grandchildren and his beloved brothers, Julius (Ida) Casarez, Charles Casarez and Michael Casarez.
Our Father will be laid to rest on March 31, 2020 at Seaside Funeral Home with a private family viewing due to the limitations with the current city ordinance. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Honorable pallbearers are his grandsons: John D. Casarez, Joshua Guillen, Phillip Guajardo, Louis A. Casarez and William Acock.
A special heartfelt thanks to all those who genuinely helped us along the way in the care of our beloved father including Dr. Joseph Puente, Cindy Serrano, Dr. Andreas Kaden, Nurse Amanda whom Daddy adored and lastly Nurse Joe and the wonderful staff at Opus Hospice. We appreciate you all.
