Lynda Faye Bauldree

Lynda Faye Bauldree, age 75, went to be with her Lord on May 7th, 2021. She was born Lynda Faye Connally on December 12, 1945 in Corpus Christi to Charles and Lucille Connally. She married Don Bauldree in 1961 and had three children: Laura Ashcraft of Corpus Christi (married to Billy), Bryan Bauldree of Dallas (married to Susan) and Danny Bauldree of Corpus Christi.

Lynda’s early career involved managing at both Texas Star and Billup’s Petroleum. She then worked at HEB and retired after 21 years of loyal service.

Lynda enjoyed the outdoors on many levels. In her early years she hunted and fished as well as gardened and tended to her many plants. Lynda loved and served her family above all else. Everyone was always welcome in Lynda and Don’s home. She was an amazing cook and known for her huge holiday meals that covered every inch of the table. She enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines and family gatherings usually involving a rousing game of dominos. Also, Lynda was never seen without a perfect set of manicured fingernails!

She treasured her grandchildren and was thrilled to welcome her first great grandchild last year. Lynda had 4 grandchildren who adored her: Chase Ashcraft (Meghan), Cody Ashcraft (Monica), Benjamin Bauldree, Rachel Bauldree and 1 great grandchild: Jackson Ashcraft. Lynda’s siblings were James Connally, John Connally (deceased) and Deborah Davis. She was treasured by many loving nieces and nephews as well. She also loved her dogs – Bella, Sara, Lacy and Chumley and they will miss her as much as all those whose lives that Lynda touched.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
