Magdalen "Maggie" Elizabeth Sulak Hajek, 84, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully at home with family and friends by her side on Monday, December 23, 2019. She was born to parents, Joe Sulak and Annie Rebecek Sulak, on July 2, 1935 in West, Texas.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Raymond; daughter: Karen; son-in-law: Rick; grandchildren: Kyle and Kayla; siblings: Mary and Irene; nephew: Freddie; nieces: Anne, Kim, Marianne, and Ashley; and dear friends as well.
Maggie was preceded in death by her mother, Annie; father, Joe; sister, Pauline; nephew, Darrell; and niece, Kathy.
Maggie enjoyed time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla. She loved spending time talking to her sisters and visiting with friends.
Maggie gracefully and peacefully passed away surrounded by her husband Raymond, daughter Karen, sister Irene, and two friends, Adriana and Delaine.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all that helped provide care in Maggie's last days: nurses and CNAs from Nurses on Wheels, caregivers from Home Instead, Delaine Bacon, and Adriana Ortiz.
The service to celebrate Maggie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, 4357 Ocean Dr. Corpus Christi, TX 78412.
