Obituary

Manuel David Perez, age 66, passed away peacefully October 25, 2020 surrounded by his wife and daughters. He was born to Marcus and Consuelo Perez on December 13, 1953 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Foy H. Moody High School. He was married to the love of his life, Sandra Perez, for 34 years. He has two daughters, Cynthia Fernandez and Jessica Gray, and one grandson, Dylan Gray. Manuel David Perez was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Manuel was retired from CCISD and was the sole owner of “Triple M Plumbing.”

Manuel loved to be on his Harley, with the wind in his hair. He enjoyed barbequing for family and friends. He was the best master plumber in town. He was always there to help others in time of needs, with whatever it was that was needed. He was a member at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, where he was a Eucharistic minister and was very involved with the parish and it’s needs. His family and friends knew him with many aliases such as “Pipe,” “Crazy Dave,” “Mad-Dog,” “Piper,” “Mr. Perez,” and “David.” David had a wonderful sense of humor, an infectious smile, and an always happy go lucky attitude that drew loved ones near.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra, two daughters Cynthia and Jessica, grandson Dylan, brother Mark Perez, two sisters Melinda Boldt (Gary) and Melissa Cuellar, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Proceeded in death by his parents Marcus and Consuelo Perez and brother Marcus Rene Perez.
