Margaret Eva Schwartz

Margaret Eva Sheets Schwartz, 91, went home to be with our Lord on March 5, 2018. She was born on August 25, 1926 to John and Bertha Sheets. She was raised in Kingwood, West Virginia along with several brothers and sisters. She met her husband, Max E. Schwartz, in Washington D.C. after World War II, at a USO dance. Later they married and moved back to Texas were they were blessed with 51 years of marriage and three sons.
She worked as a bookkeeper for various local businesses. Her favorite job though was being a wife, mother, grandmother (grannie), and great grandmother. She loved to cook and made the best sweet treats! She also volunteered at Driscoll Children’s Hospital for several years; this was a highlight in her life.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, her loving parents, her three sisters, and two brothers.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three sons, Gary (Margaret, deceased), Steven (Bette), and John (Dianne) Schwartz. Her six grandchildren, Lori (Rickey) Ware, Eric, Rebecca, Frank, Heather, and James Schwartz. Also, her two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Kylee Ware, all of Corpus Christi, TX.
Visitation will be held at Seaside Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, March 8th. A funeral service will be celebrated at Seaside Chapel on Friday, March 9th at 9:00am, with graveside services to immediate follow. She will be dearly missed by all those that loved her!
