Margaret Dean Watts

Margaret Dean Watts, age 105, passed away November 22, 2020. She was born on June 21, 1915 to Samuel and Jessie Dean in San Antonio, Texas. She was raised in San Antonio, where she graduated from Jefferson High School. Margaret Dean married her husband Albert Byron Watts of 63 years on August 23, 1936. He was employed by Magnolia Petroleum Co.

Margaret was a loving mother who enjoyed fishing and R.V. camping. She will always be remembered for her sense of adventure and devotion to family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Byron Watts; her parents, Samuel and Jessie Dean; her brother, Marvin Dean; and her sister, Ruth Dean Arnold.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Fay Smith (Pete) of Atascosa, Texas, Bonnigene Russert (Wayne) of Castle Rock, Colorado, Maureen Wheeler (Royce) of Canon City, Colorado, and Kathleen Jones of Cedar Park, Texas; as well as her 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2020 in the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will take place that same day at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2020 in the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with an interment to follow.
