I miss you mom. I will always remember the things you left in my head like when the sun goes down cover all the windows so people won't see what you have. Always telling all her daughters to put on make up and fix our hair so we would look good. One thing I will always remember. I stayed home from work, and this was when I was grown and married. She call me to come outside. My mom and dad had brought me chicken soup. I know it was my mom's idea. I miss you mom but I am glad your pain and discomfort is gone and you can be with dad. I love you.

As a child I would look at my mom getting ready to go out and she always reminded me of a movie star. I remember thinking I wanted to look like that one day. We grew up learning our mom's ways and we didn't know it at the time, but my mom was teaching her 4 daughters about women's liberation before there was such a thing. We all grew up to become strong individuals in our own way. This is the legacy she left us. We love you mom and we will miss you.
