Mary Amparo Narvaez, age 86, passed away November 7, 2017. She was born October 28th, 1931 to parents Domingo Garcia and Julia Gonzalez in Kingsville, Texas. Our heavenly father took her swiftly ending her pain and suffering.
Her greatest accomplishment was raising 5 kids, while my Dad worked nights at Reynolds Metal Company and often traveled on business trips. As the saying goes, behind every great man there is a strong woman. Our mom was definitely that woman.
Although she did not complete her high school education, she ran that family bank accounts like a professional. The family was built from a marriage that lasted 59 glorious years. She was unofficially the General of the household, keeping the house in order as well as the soldiers (kids) that lived in it. Regardless of the many titles that see held she will always be remembered for her devotion to God.
