Maria V. Razo, age 87, passed away March 22, 2021. She was born on May 1, 1933 to Porfirio Bautista and Maria De La Luz Cerritos in San Juan De La Vega, Mexico. She was raised in San Juan De La Vega, Celaya, and Guanajuato, Mexico.
Maria V. Razo, married her beloved husband, Jose Hernandez Razo, of 21 years on May 9, 1966. Maria was a loving daughter, mother, step-mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her devotion to family.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Razo; siblings, Teresa Del Rio Bautista and Guadalupe Bautista; and her step-daughter, Lidia Razo.
Left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Arturo Bautista, Francisco Bautista; her daughters, Maria G. Medina (Rodolfo), Maria L. Razo, Florina Ovalle (Jaime), Maria De Jesus Razo, Teresa Razo; her step-daughter, Santa Caballero; her step-sons, Jose Luis Razo, Crispin Razo; her grandchildren, Michelle M. Moncevais (Eddie), Veronica L. Rodriguez (Hector), Maria G. Wallace (Kyle), Rodolfo Medina, Jr., Christine Meza (Daniel), Robert D. Zapata, Jr., Sarah Zapata, Stafford E. Miller, Joseph A. Miller, Charles W. Miller, John David Miller, Jose Garcia (Halee), Valeria Garcia, Juan Garcia; her great-grandchildren, Xander R. Moncevais, Jackson C. Moncevais, Addison G. Garcia, and Penelope J. Vasquez.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Kyle Wallace, Stafford Miller, Rodolfo "Rudy" Medina, Sr., Joseph Miller, Eduardo "Eddie" Moncerais, and Rodolfo "Rudy" Medina, Jr.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as honorary pallbearers are Juan Garcia, Charles Miller, Robert "Bobby" Zapata, Jr., Joe Garcia, John David Miller, and Hector Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
