Maria C. Rodriguez, 96 years of age, went to be with our Lord on Feb. 25, 2018. She was born on December 29, 1921 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a devoted woman to all who knew her. Her love for children was exceptional. Maria is preceded in death by her husband Jose A. Rodriguez, her great-grandson, Anthony M. Zamora and daughter-in-law, Cecilia Rodriguez.
She is survived by her two sons, Bennie and Joe Jr., her two daughters Margie (David) Morales; Sister Patricia(Susie) Rodriguez,  her sister Aurora Contreras, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Leslie Boyer for her devotion and support during this time.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
