Marion F. Curington

Marion F. Curington, age 80, passed away June 18, 2018. He was born on June 26, 1937 to France and Laverne Curington in Rosefield, Louisiana. He was raised in Rosefield, Louisiana. He graduated from Enterprise High School in 1955.
He married his wife, Barbara Braddock Curington, of forty-two years on June 6, 1959.
Marion was a retired real estate appraiser.
Marion was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Marion enjoyed participation in woodworking, boating, fishing and cruises with family. He will always be remembered for serving God through singing gospel music, teaching the Bible and sharing with others his personal relationship with the Lord, as well as his devotion to family.
Marion is preceded in death by his parents, France and Laverne Curington, his wife of 42 years, Barbara Braddock Curington and then his wife of ten years, Joyce Liles Curington. Marion is survived by his children: Kathy and Rob Tschauner and Kay Sheridan, sisters: Juanita (R.V.) Mize and Lou (Roger) Moore, brother: Dale (Martha) Curington, grandchildren: Chad (Christy) Tschauner, Kevin (Danna) Tschauner, Shannon (Jason) Moreno, Shane (Emily Lane) Sheridan and Molly (Devon Holt) Sheridan, as well as Joyce’s children: Brenda (Carl) Terry, David (Susan) Carpenter, Dean Carpenter, Phyllis (David) Surginer, Becky Heins (Stacey). He also leaves behind five nephews, two nieces and many great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are: Chad Tschauner, Kevin Tschauner, Shane Sheridan, Michael Curington, Rodney Mize and Josh Mize.
