My deepest condolences to you and your family. There are many scriptures that provide comfort for when we lose a loved one. My favorite is 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 " the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with comfort that we receive from God."
