Mary T. Guerra

Mary Guerra, 89, passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2022. She was born in Corpus Christi on January 25, 1933.  Mary married the man of her dreams, Frank C. Guerra, of 44 years.  

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, working in the yard, and doing for others. She also enjoyed sharing her recipes for delicious tamales and Pan De Polvo. Everything she did, she did with Love, never too tired, and always had a smile to share.  

Mary was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, she served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion for many years. She loved her parish family as her very own and served her parish until she could no longer. She knew no stranger and welcomed all. She enjoyed having sweetbread and coffee with her friends.
 
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Frank. She is survived by her children, Frank E. Guerra (Janie), Mark Guerra (Lucy), and daughter Denise Mireles (David), 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel in Corpus Christi, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Mom does not want us to be sad or wear black, she asked that we wear white and remember all the fond memories.  The Family will celebrate her life with the last serenade of mariachis beginning at 6:15 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 at Seaside Funeral Home.
