Melvin Lewis Wanzer, passed away April 26, 2021. He was born on January 28, 1938 to Emmitt and Lena Wanzer in Dover, Oklahoma.
He served and retired from the Navy. Melvin worked for Maintenance Engineering and Linco Electric Matic until he retired. He enjoyed going to have a couple of beers with his buddies and took life easy.
Melvin is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Sharon Wanzer.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Wanzer and Michael Wanzer; (Michele) daughter, Melody Gayman (Wayne); grandchildren, Mark Wanzer, Melissa Atkinson (Tony), John Jones (Sophia), Jacob Jones, Coby Maxwell, Brett Maxwell and Anna Wanzer.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
