Michael Mathew Horvath, 71, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2019 in Corpus Christi, TX. Michael served in the United States Army from 1967-1970. He was a hard worker, he worked at a steel mill in Indiana for over twenty years before retiring to Texas in 2009.
Michael loved working on classic cars, listening to music, German Shepherds, riding motorcycles and was an avid gun lover. Through his generosity, he helped many people. He was a silent hero never needing any recognition or accolades.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Mathew Alexander Horvath and Fanna Dykstra and his brother Mathew Thomas Horvath. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Rosalie Buford, a son Scott Mathew (Sandra), four grandchildren Brittany Horvath, Christopher Horvath, Joshua DeLeon and Julissa DeLeon and three siblings Martha Fisher (Edward), Terri Fenmore and Paul Horvath.
A Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. that same day. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
