Milagros S. Bernardo

Milargros Salvador Bernardo, 93 years old, passed away April 13, 2021. She was born on March 8, 1928 to Francisco Salvador and Ursula Mendoza -Salvador. She was born in the Philippines, and raised in Pandi Bulacan, Philippines. She married, Federico Bernardo, Sr., of Pandi Bulacan, Philippines.

Milagros worked and retired from the Flour Bluff Independent School District.

She loved cooking, gardening and fishing. She had a very generous heart, not only to her family and friends, but to the community where she was born and raised before she migrated to the US. She was loved and adored by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, friendly and outgoing personality, service to community and commitment and devotion to her family.

Milagros Bernardo is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Salvador and Ursula Mendoza- Salvador; husband, Federico Bernardo, Sr.; and son, Alfredo Bernardo, Sr.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Eddie married to Luz, Flor Cruz-Bernardo, widow of Freddie, Mel married to Brent Barclift, Jojo married to Erlyn, Rene married to Zenaida, and Ferdie married to Hilda; her sister, Candida Morales; her grandchildren, Editha married to Marc Abello, Elaine married to Kwan Chow, Joy married to Jayson Ramos, Laiza married to Ramon Villamin, Jay-R married to Emely Fernandez-Bernardo, Eric married to Gemma De Guzman – Bernardo, Mac married to Mai Castro-Bernardo, Reynald Joaquin, Christian Joaquin, Rasheed married to Adriana Moreno-Bernardo, Lara, Andrea, Patrick married to Gelyn de Guzman, Roy married to Jelyn Sapino-Bernardo, and Raiza. She will be truly missed by everyone, especially her great-grandchildren, Jada, Gavin, Evan, Jacob, Benjamin, Jameson, Monchie, Alfheya, Gavi, Jinjer, Martina, Morgana, Noah, Jasmine and Peyton.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Seaside Funeral Chapel with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary to be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. (A Live Stream of the Rosary is available below in the Services Section) Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, located at 7522 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78413
