I am so sorry for your loss of your dear loved one. The Bible holds out so much comfort and the one scriputure that really has helped me is in Revelation 21:4 " And he(God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and DEATH will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Its such a comfort to know that Death will be done away with and we know if God promises something it will come true. What about those who have passed away in death God has a promise for them too in Acts 24:15 " And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection...."
