Nelda Lee Smith

Nelda Smith, age 87, passed away January 15th, 2023. She was born on August 9th, 1935 to Oleta Rice & Tray Walker in Ballinger, Texas. She was raised in Cache, Oklahoma. She graduated from Cache High in 1953.

Nelda married her husband Ben Smith of 64 years on February 11th, 1958. She was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed fishing, doing crafts, and loved walking on the beach and picking up sea shells. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. She put other people before herself.

Nelda is preceded in death by Karen Smith and Donald Walker.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband; Ben Smith, son; Stephen Smith and daughter in law; Julia Smith.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 at Seaside Funeral Home. A crypt side funeral service will follow that same afternoon at 2:30 p.m at Seaside Memorial Park.
