Jean was a one in a million lady who was loved by all who knew her. Jean married Curtis Perkins in 1951, and they were married for 51 years. Their family was active in the Methodist Church as well as baseball, softball, and bowling for many years. Camping at Garner State Park was one of her family’s long time and favorite traditions. Jean and Curtis loved going to Las Vegas in their later years. Spending time with her children and their families was Jean’s great joy in life. According to her children, Jean was the Best Mother Ever.
After Curtis passed away, Jean was blessed to marry August “Boochie” Uehlinger. They were happily married for 15 years and enjoyed traveling the US in their RV, going to Coushatta, playing marbles, cards, and poker with friends.
