Patricia R Martinez

Patricia R. Martinez, age 95, passed away on October 17, 2019. She was born on March 17, 1924 to Bernadino and Susana Reyna in Mission, Texas.

Patricia married her husband of 42 years, Tomas Martinez, Sr., on February 23, 1944. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and aunt. Patricia enjoyed sewing, embroidering, cooking and playing Mexican Bingo. She loved the Dallas Cowboys. Patricia read the bible daily and would bless everyone before leaving her home. She greeted everyone with a smile and will always be remembered for her generosity and the love she had for her family.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Tomas Martinez Sr. and daughter Maria Hilda Rodriguez. Left to cherish her memories are her children: Tomas (Julie) Martinez Jr., Ernesto (Janie) Martinez, Maria Susana Cuellar, Patricia (Richard) Ramirez, George Martinez, Yolanda (Hector) Ramirez, Maria Isabel Bernal, Arturo (Belinda) Martinez and Jesus “Bobby” Martinez, forty two grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and one brother Bernadino (Tina) Reyna Jr.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are: Roman Martinez, Jorge Martinez, Isaac Martinez, Arturo Martinez Jr., Ricardo Ramirez Jr., Eric Ramirez and Thomas Ramirez.
