Raul A Meza

Raul A. Meza, age 79, passed away May 18, 2019. He was born on September 30, 1939 to Victor Meza and Sofia Alvarez in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from West Oso High School.

Raul married his wife of 45 years, Elisa, on July 24, 1960. He retired from H-E-B grocery store. Raul was a loving father, son, brother and grandpa. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and his love for music. He was known to have a great sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone laugh.

Raul A. Meza is preceded in death by his wife, Elisa Meza, parents, Victor Meza and Sofia Alvarez and his brother, Joe Meza. Left to cherish his memories are his seven children: MaryAnn (Richard), Maria (Ramiro), Irma (Roland), Victor, Michael (Belinda), Jesse (Debra), Brenda (Romeo), 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Wake will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
