Rene Gomez Rosales

Rene Gomez Rosales, age 72, went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2018 after a battle with cancer. Born in Mexico City, Rene’s family has resided mostly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area except for Rene and two of his children who have resided in Corpus Christi for the past 20 years. Rene worked in radio and was a major contributor to the Spanish music community while in North Carolina and was active in his church for many years prior to his wife’s passing. Remembered fondly as a film aficionado, aspiring stunt driver, avid collector and Dr. Pepper fan, he will be missed by all who loved and knew him. He is survived by his children: Luis Rosales, Thelma Rosales, Ian Rosales (Alondra Rosales), fur grandchildren, mother Gloria Rosales, two brothers and three sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on 2217 Sarita St. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
