Robert Thomas Bailey

Robert Thomas Bailey, 35, went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Robert was a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him.

Robert was born on August 13, 1987 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Richard T. “Spec” Bailey & Tammy Horton Bailey. After graduating from high school, he went to work for his father in the construction business. He then started working in the oilfield where he gained the name “Hollywood.” Robert later found his passion as a crane operator and was always chasing the next biggest crane. He took great pride in being a “brother of the hook.”

Robert became a father to his son, Ryder, at the age of 21 years old. He married Lindsey Jensen Bailey October 19, 2012; they had just celebrated their 10 year anniversary. Together they had three beautiful daughters, Emma, Ryleigh and Ellie. Robert loved nothing more than being a husband and father. Robert took great pride in the co-parenting relationship he and Lindsey had with Megan and AJ Llewellyn, Ryder’s mother and stepfather. He was extremely proud of the family he created.

Robert had a true love for the sport of Jiu Jitsu with the life long goal of achieving his black belt. He also enjoyed bird hunting and Baffin Bay trips on the Kennedy shoreline with friends. Robert loved life and lived it to the fullest. He had a true passion for traveling and loved to take spontaneous trips to Mexico.

Robert is survived by his wife, Lindsey; his son, Ryder; his three daughters, Emma, Ryleigh and Ellie, all of Corpus Christi; his mother, Tammy Bailey, of Goliad; stepmother, Staria Bailey, of Corpus Christi; brother, Michael Tracy of Prairie Lea; sister, Calle’ (Tyler) Bradley of Aransas Pass; his nieces and nephews; Sienna, Danica, Isaak, Sky, Ryder and Kinsley; many friends; and his “bird dog” cat, Meow Meow.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard T. “Spec” Bailey; his brother Perry T. Bailey; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and his beloved Shotty.

Robert will be greatly missed by his wife, children, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel followed by a graveside celebration.
