Rogelio Del Rosario Munoz

Rogelio Del Rosario Munoz, age 83, passed away March 20, 2023. He was born on March 25, 1939 to Delfin and Teresa Munoz in Manila, Philippines. He graduated from Jose Abad Santos High School. After briefly studying at University of the East, he joined the United States Navy in 1964. He retired in 1984 with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He then graduated with his Associates degree from Del Mar College in 1987. Roger was a loving father who enjoyed traveling and reading. He will be remembered for his love of laughter, quiet nature, devotion to God, his church and family.

Roger is preceded in death by his first wife, then by his 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife Magdalena and his son David.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Seaside Reid Chapel. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
