Rose Marie Hand

Rose Marie Hand, age 89, passed away March 17, 2021. She was born on February 4, 1932 to John and Marguerite Kaler in Corpus Christi, where she was raised. Rose Marie graduated from Incarnate Ward Academy in 1950.
She married her husband of 69 years on June 18, 1952. Rose Marie was employed by Avon Products. She enjoyed being a wonderful and loving housewife and mother, raising her five children.
Rose Marie will be remembered for her love of being an Avon Sales Representative. She thoroughly enjoyed the sale visits with her women clients. Over the years, most of her clients became her friends. Also, mom loved decorating her home and making floral arrangements.
Rose Marie is preceded in death by her father, John F. Kaler; mother, Margerite Kaler; brother, John (Pat) Kaler; son, John Hand Jr.; great-grandsons, Matthew Gabriel Buhman and Michael David Buhman; aunt and godmother, Eleanor Kaler.
She is survived by her husband, John M. Hand; daughters, Diane (Bruce) Addison and Laura (Ed) Nasis; sons, Bill (Suzi) Hand and Bob (Deana) Hand; siblings, Margaret Ann (Vic) Vatzlavick, Elaine (Rich) Bates and Robert (Carol) Kaler; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Hand, Michael Hand, Brian Addison, Andrew Addison, Benny Addison, Brad Nasis, Nolan Nasis and Mason Nasis.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. the same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
