Roy E Cotham

Roy Edward Cotham, age 78, passed away October 10, 2018. He was born on February 7, 1940, to Roy Lee and Ruby Cotham in Waurika, OK. He moved to Corpus Christi at six years old and graduated from Ray High School in 1958. He enlisted in the US Army in 1960. He married his wife of 57 years on June 24, 1961. Roy was employed by R and S Refrigeration and taught at Del Mar College. Roy enjoyed being a member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church since 1961. He also loved to travel with his family. Roy is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Cotham. Roy is survived by his loving wife Sue; daughter Susan (Bobby) Strong; son, Roy Len Cotham; grandchildren Cody and Katie Strong; brother, Billy (June) Cotham; sister, Linda (Kerry) Coppage; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. A Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Seaside Chapel. Interment will follow after the service. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
