Ruben Pena Sifuentes

Ruben Pena Sifuentes of Corpus Christi, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021. He was born on February 11, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Faustino Sifuentes and Eugenia Pena.
He lived his entire life in Corpus Christi, graduated from Roy Miller High School, received his Associates Degree in Business Administration from Del Mar College and attended Corpus Christi
State University.

Ruben retired from H. E. B. where he worked for over 30 years as an area operations manager. He loved his work and developed many friendships throughout his career.

He is survived by his most dearest for many years, Patsy Ramirez; 3 children, Melinda Sifuentes, Ruben Sifuentes Jr., Dr. Roger (Suzanne) Sifuentes and also by his most beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Gabriella, Michael, Hannah and Isaiah.

He spent many years devoting his time to coaching little league baseball and youth football in Corpus Christi. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them participate in sport activities.

He will be sadly missed by his entire family and all of those who knew him. We will be celebrating his life with services at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, with a visitation starting at 2:00 p.m. that same afternoon.
