Shawna Marie Palmer

Shawna Marie Palmer, age 49 passed away September 23rd, 2019. She was born on September 13th, 1970 to Deborah Marie Anderson (Wilson) and Damon Ray Palmer in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from W.B. Ray high school.

Shawna was a beloved daughter, mother and grandmother. During her life she tended bar for many years in her hometown of Corpus Christi where she was a cherished friend to many patrons and locals. She will be remembered for her fearless attitude, boisterous laughter and the great love she bore for her family.

She is preceded in death by her father Damon Ray Palmer, her maternal grandmother Lara Jo Wilson, her maternal grandfather Russell John Wilson, her paternal grandmother Anna Mae Palmer.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Damara Laboy and grandchildren, Latham Mitchell, Devin Mitchell and Aurora Hughes, her mother and stepfather, Deborah and Wayne Anderson, her brother, John Wilson and nephews John and Zackary Wilson as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles both maternal and paternal.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.
