Stacy Marie Chavira

Stacy Marie Chavira, age 57, passed away May 24th, 2023. She was born on December 20th, 1965 to John and Debra Gump in Cleveland, OH. She was raised in Mentor, OH and graduated from Mentor High in 1984.

Stacy married her husband of 31 years Michael Anthony Chavira on December 16th,1991. Stacy was a loving mother, sister and daughter. She enjoyed the beach, her dog Ed, traveling, gardening, Scrabble, scrapbooking and knitting. She is remembered most for her sense of adventure, her unique and eclectic style, love for life, great music and family.

Stacy is preceded in death by her father John William Gump. Left to carry and cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband Michael Anthony Chavira, her sons James Jason Bolko, John Michael Chavira, Matthew Jacob Chavira, her daughter Ashley Amanda Mendoza, her mother Debra Gump, her sisters Dina and Lori, and her grandchildren Savannah, Skyler, and Townes.

Visitation for the public will be held from 5-8 PM on Friday June 2nd, 2023 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 6 PM that same evening, followed by a funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA in her name.
