Obituary

Stanley “Stosh” Wondolowski, 82, born July 14,1939 in Harvey, Illinois, was called peacefully to his heavenly home September 2. 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Blanch Wondolowski and his brother, Lawrence (Judi).

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Carol (Bivens), his brother Paul (Pam) and brother-in-law, Roy, (Rachell) Bivens of Athens OH.

Three children, Robert (Lesa) of Braidwood IL, Cathy (David) Blankenship of Cleveland TN, and Brian (Dodie) of Henderson TN.

Three grandchildren Krissie (Steve) Topor of Cleveland TN, Stanley Joseph (Jenny) Blankenship of Plainfield IL, and William Blankenship of Cleveland TN.
Great granddaughters Kaylee and Robin Topor and Roslyn and Nora Blankenship and numerous nieces and nephews.

Stosh was a 3rd Degree Knight Of Columbus Council 8170 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Flour Bluff. He was also a long time member of the Loyal order of Moose Lodge in Lockport IL.

He loved to cook, bake, and make homemade Polish sausage which we served up at St. Paul’s Ethnic Fest for many years. He loved woodworking and was a jack of all trades. There is nothing he wouldn’t tackle. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A rosary will be recited at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, (2243 Waldron Rd. Corpus Christi) followed by a memorial mass at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers the Wondolowski family request donations be made to ST. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Youth Center Building Fund.
