Steven Gregory Cash

Steven G. Cash, age 70, joined our Lord in Heaven on December 30, 2020. He was born on October 20, 1950 to Edward and Jean Lingerfelt Cash in Gastonia, NC. He was raised in Miami, FL where he became a lifelong Dolphin fan. He enlisted in and served in the U.S. Army from October 1967 thru April 1971. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and earned the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and Sharpshooter. Steve married his wife Linda Cash of 44 years on November 19, 1976. He was employed by Orkin Pest Control and ultimately started his own business, Double “C” Pest Control in Weimar, TX in 1998.

Steve was a loving husband and father who enjoyed fishing, camping, and barbecuing. He will always be remembered for his love of laughter, sense of adventure, devotion to family, and generosity to others. Steve is survived by his wife, three children, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three brothers, and hundreds of close friends. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Steve Cash to be announced.
