Virginia Grace Reagan, age 92, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Virginia was born on November 3, 1924 to Armster and Grace Graham. She graduated from Nursing Training in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1944. She was one of the first nurses to work at the new Memorial Medical Center. She met and married William “Red” Reagan in 1945. She will always be remembered for her caring ways and love for others. Her greatest passion was her church work and teaching children about God’s love! She taught Sunday School for over 50 years and “Good News Clubs” for nearly 40 years.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, William “Red” Reagan of 47 years, and a sister, Marguerite McCain.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Sharon Erskine, sons, Mike (Cindy) Reagan, Charles (Renalie) Reagan, four grandchildren, Jason (Sarah) Erskine, Jennifer (Kevin) Payne, John Reagan, Leslie Reagan, 2 great-grandchildren, Andrew and Avery Payne.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
