Wilda Frances (Jones) Ellis, age 89, went home to be with the Lord August 2, 2017. Wilda was born April 18, 1928 in Brady, Texas to Lillian and Maurice Jones. She was raised in Brady, Austin and Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Corpus Christi HS in 1944 and married her husband of 53 years on May 21, 1949. Wilda was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack Ellis.
   Wilda is survived by her daughter, Sharon Miner, husband Art, of Watauga, Texas. Daughter, Sandra Brodbeck, husband Lance of New Braunfels, Texas. Grandchildren Jarrel Miner, wife Casey of Haslet, Texas, Amanda Miner of Watauga, Texas, Heather Sledge, husband Tony of New Braunfels, Texas and Allyson Brodbeck of New Braunfels,Texas. Great grandchildren, Braden and Annabelle Miner of Haslet, Texas.
   Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home located at 4357 Ocean Dr. Corpus Christi, TX 78412. A Funeral Service will be held at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, 4357 Ocean Dr. Corpus Christi, TX 78412, on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 9:30am. Interment to follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Alzheimer Association of Fort Worth, 2630 West Fwy #100, Fort Worth, TX 76102.
