Carl Miller Jr., age 83 passed away on October 6, 2013. He was born on March 21, 1930 to Carl and Catherine Miller Sr. Carl was a pharmacist at Parr Drugs, Eckerd’s and CVS for 40 years.

He was a devout Catholic and will always be remembered for his Passion for his family and his customers at the pharmacy.

Carl is survived by his wife Lue of 56 years his three daughters, Susan Ames, Cindi Hailes (David), Sherri Salch; eight grandchildren ,Tommy Ames, Robbie Ames, Paul Hailes (Erica), John Hailes, Becky Blum (Rusty), Tim Salch, Nick Salch, Kim Salch; two great grandchildren; sister Doris Malanaphy (Mike); brother, Tom Miller (Charlotte).

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Reid Chapel Seaside Memorial Park with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church Youth Group or the Coastal Bend Kidney Foundation.
