After being in his mother’s womb for 21 weeks and born prematurely with a beating heart for one hour, Baby David Jesus Huerta, their first born passed peacefully in his parents’ arms at Bay Area Women’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX on August 13, 2017. He was surrounded by family and love as he went to be with Our Lord and Savior. 
His precious memory will always be forever in their hearts as he was loved by many in such little time.
Baby David Jesus is survived by his loving parents, Velia Margarita Cruz and Samuel David Huerta of Corpus Christi, TX; maternal grandparents, Guadalupe Martinez  of Corpus Christi, TX and Roberto Cruz of Rockport-Fulton, TX; paternal grandparents, Martha Huerta and Armando Huerta of Sinton, TX; aunts and uncles, Israel and Jeanette Loredo of Rockport-Fulton, TX, Renee and Anthony Zapata of Corpus Christi, TX, and Frank Huerta of Sinton, TX; as well as numerous cousins. 
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 beginning with a Rosary at 9 a.m. at Seaside Reid Chapel. Burial will be followed (same day, shortly after Rosary) at 10 a.m. at Seaside Memorial Park.
