As a former patient of Dr. Perez, it grieves me to see a practitioner of the healing arts succumb to the enemy he fought for so long in himself and others. It comforts me to know he is with the Master Healer and my hope is that the Holy Spirit leaves the peace that surpasses all understanding (Phil. 4) with those Jose has left behind.

We miss you dad so very much! It seems as if you could just walk through the door any minute and your smiling face light up the room. We love you forever & always.
Thank you to all the wonderful people who loved him. We feel blessed just knowing how many lives he touched and the great work he did. God gave him a special gift and he spent his life focusing on using it to help others.

🌹My family has known Dr. Perez since he first opened his practice in Alice We we're so impressed by his kindness and concern, we never went to see any other doctor. I hope his family knows that he wasn't just my Doctor, but he was a good friend to me as well!! He always spoke of his boys and how proud he was of them. Lord, please grant his family, especially his children, strength and comfort during this extremely difficult time.
Dr. Perez was my first boss in my career as a Physician Assistant. He took a chance on me and hired me fresh out of school, with no real experience as a PA. He was a wonderful mentor, he always had my back. We had so many adventures taking care of patient in the hospital in Alice, which he would call the wild, wild west. I have so many fond memories of him, and his many particular mannerisms. Most importantly, he had such a profound influence on how I practice as a PA today. He has helped shape me into the provider that I am now. He taught me so much, and the knowledge, education he has passed on to me, I will cherish and keep with me forever.
I think of you often, Dr. Perez. You will be so missed. You've worked so hard all of your life. May you rest in eternal paradise with our Lord and Savior.

Dr. Jose Perez, a very close colleague of mine will be greatly missed by Alice and Corpus Christi medical communities. He was a brilliant doctor who placed his patients' health problems above his own health. He accepted challenging cases and saved numerous lives . Our sympathies are with his family.

I worked with Dr. Perez for many years. Wonderful physician who truly cared for his patients. His boys meant the world to him. My condelescences to Dr. Jose Perez's family. I am an ex-transcriptionist from Christus Spohn Hospital Alice, Alice Regional Hospital and Physician and Surgeons Hospital.. I transcribed Dr. Perez's dictation when he had privileges in the hospitals. He was a good dictator, good doctor and treated his patients and employees with respect. He will be missed. May you rest in peace, Dr. Jose Perez. May his family find comfort that ALICE people liked him!
